Dr. Prem Kumar is the Founder and CEO of The Global School of Systems Thinking.


He is an experienced public administrator, community developer, capacity builder, author and researcher of individual, organisational and national learning systems. His work has appeared in leading publications including the International Journal of Lifelong Education and major handbooks published by Routledge and Palgrave on adult learning and education. He has written on organisational and lifelong learning, governance, and sustainability. His books include The Learning Marketplace: East meets West in Singapore and Learning and Performance Matter.


Drawing on extensive experience across private and public sectors, Prem holds a doctoral degree from the University of Surrey and master's degrees from the University of Hull and The Fletcher School at Tufts University. His specialised training includes adult education diplomas from the University of British Columbia and Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ), systems development training from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and IGOR Germany, and a certificate in Learning Organisations: Developing Leaders for Learning from Singapore's Civil Service College.
